Kierra Holst: «Cant wait to play against Olympiacos»
Kierra Holst, the MVP of the 13th round of the Greek National League gave an interview about her amazing perfomance against Korinthos.
After Korinthos took 1st set, did you ever think that the game might go wrong?
«I wasn't worried about the game going wrong I was just more focused on winning. I knew we could play better so I was more determined to win after the first set».
Did you understand during the match that you made a record point game?
«I had no clue that I had a record point game. I knew I had been hitting a lot but I never thought that I was doing that well. It was a surprise to me after the game when they told me how many points I had made».
In almost every game you make more than 20 points. Thats because of teamwork and trust from your teammates?
«I can only make that many points because of how hard my team works. Maggie does an amazing job setting me constant balls and the rest of the team trusts me to put them away. We all work really well together».
You will receive the award on 3 February in the game against Olympiacos. Is a game you look forward?
«I'm looking forward to playing Olympiacos again. I think we have gotten a lot better since we last played them so I hope we can do a lot better this time around. It will be an exciting game».
In the top-16 of the Greek Cup you will play against Porfiras. Do you think its possible for Makedones to advance to the final-4?
«I definitely think we can make it to the top 4 if we keep playing well. We just need to keep our head on the game and work hard in the games coming up so that we can get into the final 4».
