Maggie Speaks: "We exceeded the expectations of the club"
Is this your first MVP award? Where do you dedicate this award?
This is my first MVP award. I dedicate the award to my teammates because even though I received the award, the match against santorini was a team effort and everyone contributed to our success.
Makedones will be in the play offs of the Greek championship and probably will play against Olympiacos. How do you see that match up?
I think it will be a fun match to compete in. As long as we play to our potential, it should be a competitive and entertaining game.
The season is almost over. You think the season is successfull for you and Makedones?
I think this season has exceeded the expectations of our club, as well as the entire league. It is unfortunate to finish fourth when we held the second place spot for so long throughout the season, but to be in the final four at all is something that did not seem realistic at the beginning of the season. However, we have clearly proved that we belong in the top of the league and that we are not a team to take lightly.
