Greece look forward to #EuroVolleyM comeback after ten years

Rentis, Greece, July 20, 2019. Ten years after their last appearance at #EuroVolleyM in Izmir, Turkey, the men’s national team of Greece returns to compete with the best teams in Europe.

Before travelling to Montpellier for the Pool A matches of EuroVolley 2019, head coach Dimitrios Andreopoulos, his coaching staff and the 22 selected players, will train from July 25 in Rentis, Piraeus.

Greece has planned a series of friendly matches against Slovenia, Montenegro and Slovakia, another three #EuroVolleyM contestants.

The matches with Slovenia will take place on August 21-24, while those with Slovakia will follow on September 5-7. In between, Greece will travel to Montenegro for two friendly matches scheduled for August 26-27.

The CEV EuroVolley 2019 Men will run from September 12 to 29, and will be taking place for the first time in four countries - France, Belgium, Slovenia and the Netherlands.
 
Greece feature in Pool A, with matches played in Montpellier, against home team France, plus Italy, Bulgaria, Portugal and Romania. The top four teams at the end of the group phase will be making it to the knockout stage of the tournament.
