Olympiacos claimed his 8th straight Greek Cup
Olympiacos made history Saturday night in Santorini, by claiming his 8th straight Greek Cup. In the final that was held in DAPPOS Sports Hall, Olympiacos won 3-0 (25-15, 25-16, 25-19) Pannaxiakos and was crowned the Greek Cup winner for 2018.
"Every year we have the same motivation to win the Cup. Olympiacos always have high goals. I am really happy we made it. For me its my 7th title and i hope in the future i will get even more" said Olympiacos captain Stella Christodoulou.
In the semifinals Olympiacos won home team AO Thiras 3-1 (25-21, 28-26, 22-25, 25-21) and Pannaxiakos beat Ilisiakos 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-20).
MVP of the final-4 was Olympiacos opposite Saskia Hippe. In the final, she scored 11 points to help her team win the title.
