Newly appointed head coaches unveil ambitious plans for Greek national teams
The President of the Hellenic Volleyball Federation, Mr Giorgos Karampetsos, introduced to the media the newly appointed head coaches of the men’s and women’s national teams at a press conference held on Thursday, May 17. Dimitris Andreopoulos and Guillermo Naranjo Hernandez talked about their plans and goals with the Greek men’s and women’s national teams at the event hosted right by the sea.
“I wanted to take the challenge of bringing Greece back to the European Championship in 2019 and we will do our best to achieve this goal. I think the time is right and with hard work I believe we can make this happen,” Andreopoulos said. “The first thing we must do is to give motivation to the athletes. Greek players are successful with their clubs and I think it is about time to achieve something with the national team as well,” Naranjo Hernandez commented.
